Debbie and Ginger (Kentucky) Many thanks to a special lady, Glenda, a much loved Aunt & Uncle, and wonderful neighbors for making my passion alive and well! Around 7:45, I was out walking & talking to the dogs when all of a sudden this beautiful blue–eyed mare comes running to the fence letting me know that it was her breakfast time and very loudly at that. Forty minutes later we are on our way for a two hour ride. Not only is she as smooth as silk with a wonderful short lope, she has a very gentle kind soul and a love for people! We did it all, mud, creeks, hills, you name it. Can’t hardly wait for our next ride in the morning. There was only one bad thing I can say about our first ride, it felt like I went through a thousand massive spider webs! LOL

Emma (AL) Hi Glenda, Want to let you know Luke is doing GREAT ! Emma loves that horse and is riding several days a week , would ride more if I had more time

Roberta (AL) I was so lucky to come across Glenda’s website while looking for a gaited horse. I am very particular about size, temperament, gait, personality, etc. The BIG question is.. “Can a little horse from Hardin, Kentucky make it in the BIG scary city of Los Angeles, California? I saw Domino’s picture and watched his video and really liked this little horse. After spending many hours of speaking with Glenda on the phone and via email, I decided to take a chance and bring him out here. He is everything and more that Glenda said he would be. It didn’t take any time at all for him to know that I am his new best friend. I have to say that Glenda has the patience of a saint, and will really do her best to tell you all about the horses she has and will find the right fit for you. Was I scared to try this over the internet? Of course– who wouldn’t be? But Glenda puts your mind at ease and you can trust what she says. After making my decision, I called her on Sunday and by Thursday at Noon my Domino was delivered. He is even more beautiful in person. I am one lucky gal to have this horse and everyone will be envious of his glide ride! I have ridden him around the L.A. Equestrian Center 4 times within one week of delivery. This is a very difficult place for horses that have never been here, since there is so much going on all the time. Domino handles it all very well and I am looking forward to my rides in Griffith Park with him. Photos and more updates to follow, but I wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Glenda for making my dream come true. Roberta, Glendale, CA

Libby & Brett (AL) Dear Glenda, It has been too long, we hope this finds you well and that business is booming! we have been so busy and we had our grandson come to stay at short notice. however between all this and the huge snow storms we have had we have been riding regularly. we are surrounded by dirt roads and open range so we are lucky that we can ride for miles in the winter. We are in love with Jack (Jap) and Sky ( Storm) and we love our rides.Thankyou for all your help, it all sorted itself finally and we are so happy.I have attached 2 photos and will write the testimonial below. BTW did you ever get the flag up? Brett and I live in Colorado and are surrounded by the most beautiful scenery and mountains, all calling us to explore them by horseback !! Because of Bretts back surgery we were looking for gaited horses. We started investigating and after looking and finding many ranches that upon checking were all on Ripoff.com we began to get concerned. We found G&G flatshod farm and not only were we impressed with the web site, we FOUND ONLY good things said about them. We then contacted Glenda and from that point forward Glenda went beyond to help us, she was wonderful and so were her horses!! Jack and Sky were everything we could of hoped for, Jack has a wonderful smooth running walk and Brett glides with NO uncomfortable back pain, they are best buddies! Sky and I have bonded so quickly and she is so wonderful to ride, I never want to get off!! So to anyone looking for a caring professional to find them a perfect trail companion seek out Glenda and her team because they are helpful, honest and very caring and we encourage you to put yourself in their capable hands. BethWe took Whiskey out for his first ride today. He was a champ! He walked along looking around at everything but handled the traffic without a flinch and was just a good, good boy.?? My daughter and I rode first, me on Whiskey and she on her Arab gelding. When we got back, after about an hour, Dave was home from work and I got on my daughter’s horse and Dave hopped on Whiskey. He marched back off down the road without a bit of fuss, despite the reluctance of my daughter’s horse to set out again. He is settling into the routine here very nicely. He doesn’t like being sprayed with fly spray, so we are working on that (because goodness knows he needs it here) but that is a minor thing. We are very happy with him. Beth

Debbie and Dale in OhioHi Trisha & Glenda, Just a note to say that we will always be indebted for your help in finding Tonto (now Toby). After two previous miserable failures where we were not told the truth about the horses we bought, we thought we would nor could we trust anyone with a horse to sale. Thanks the stars that Trisha told us about Glenda’s horse farm. What a breath of fresh air to have met someone like Glenda. Words cannot describe how open and honest of a person she is, we felt very comfortable dealing with her. If it wasn’t for Trisha, it is unlikely that we would have even met Glenda and seen her wonderful horse farm. So when we got Tonto here, we had already decided to name him, Toby as he is very much like Trisha’s Toby in Texas. Ravi, our quarter horse, and Toby are the best of buddies – you take one somewhere and the other lets you know that he want to stay with him. I know that we will spend many of happy hour trail riding together with our two horses. Thanks again. Dale & Debbie

Karin and Snip (Michigan) Glenda, I don t know how to post this in your testimonial page so you are getting an email. Thank you so much for Snip! Everything you said about him in right on. He is the kindest horse I have ever had. He leaves his grazing to get scratched and loved on. Everything you said to do was perfect when he came up to us (800 Miles) to help the transition easier on Snip and myself. I followed your suggestions and he is coming along just like you said. Being as timid as I am, I started doubting my decision to buy a 4 year old when I finally made my decision, but we are learning together with your wonderful foundation. His personality and sweetness carries us a long way. After my horrid buying experience / scam, I was really leary, but something told me, via our phone conversations, to have faith in you and your horses. I spread the name of your farm every chance I get. If I ever had to get another horse, I would only get one from your farm. Snip and I will be retiring from riding at the same time…years from now. Thank you for your knowledge, integrity and patience. The saddle is perfect and my friend Laurie has looked far and wide for one to fit her horse. She is once again riding because of your saddles. Paula (Tennessee) Hi Glenda, I have intended to e–mail you sooner, but this wild weather has kept us very busy and I am sure it has been the same for you all. I know you were busy with the lady from Nashville on the Saturday we dropped by and ended up buying Scooby (which I now call him). Terry and I missed talking/visiting with you but Gerald kept us entertained (LOL). I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with Scooby, tho I have not gotten to ride him much because of work/weather. He is gentle and very very smart. .. a quick learner. … and he seems to want to please. He also has an awesome gait with plenty of speed……and can even stay up with Smokey….unless Terry turns Smokey’s turbo’s on…hahaha…He and Smokey are buds and it was love at first sight. As most young horses, he just needs wet blankets and ‘seasoning’. I am anxious to ride him @ LBL and test him out there. …which I am sure he will do great. Maybe one of these days we will get to ride together @ LBL. So I just wanted to let you know what a good horse Scoob is and a big thank you to Gerald for letting us have the freedom to ride around your farm while we were there and thanks as always for your hospitality . If we can help you all with anything or you need a good reference we will be glad to help. Happy trails, Terry & Paula Harris Dyersburg, TN

Shelia (Illinois) I just thought I’d drop you a line and say “thank–you” again for selling Secret to me. I have had her for about a year now and her and I completed our first “solo” ride for about 3 hours in the woods along the Kankakee River and she was wonderfully confident! It was about 90 out yesterday, and I wanted to get going early in the morning, but did not get out until afternoon – that’s why I choose to ride along the river because it’s wooded and much cooler. She did not miss a beat – and you know that I usually only ride my gelding Henry alone – but I have gotten to know Secret very well and I figured I’d take her out alone and see what she can do – and she impressed me totally and took the best care of me on our ride! Along the river we flush out turkey, deer, very large hawks, snakes, and I even came across a good sized turtle – she didn’t mind any of it! Now I can tell you that in all my years of owning horses (almost 20) I have finally got two horses that I can ride together, in a group, or totally alone and feel safe in the saddle – which is very important to me as I’m a 56 year old (saying that now because in a few more days I’ll have to add another year to that) woman who is only an average rider. Everyone that knows me says I’m riding now more than I ever have and that is because I have two wonderful safe horses to ride! THANKS TO YOU & GERALD!!!

Sandy (New York) Good Morning Glenda and Gerald: We got back last night from a 5–day camping trip. I wanted to let you know that Stuntman did extremely well. My granddaughter, Katie, rode him. He went up hill, down hill, over the bridges, and through the water. He stood very good in the straight stall, too. Bill reset his shoes a few days before we left, and Bill set he was very impressed with how well he stood. He is an extremely nice colt and we all love him. By the way, I rode Doc all 5 days, and he, too, was very, very good. My back is better, and I could get a good seat. He is a gaiting fool when you open him up. He is jet black with his winter coat coming in and looks like a million dollars. We are very pleased with both these horses we purchased from you. Thanks again. You have wonderful horses, and, if we, in the future need another, we certainly will purchase from you folks again. Best wishes and health to you and your staff. Sandy and Bill

Gerry (North Carolina) Hi Glenda, Just wanted to let you know that the saddle is wonderful! We got a bit sidetracked –– Both of us caught awful colds, along with almost everyone else around here. Several too–cold days, then lovely summerlike days, then rain and high winds, then cold again. Fortunately our horses have fared OK through the extremes, better than we did. The saddle fits Peg’s mare Julip very well and she says it is the best saddle she ever has ridden on –– They have gone on two short trail rides with it already. I’ve tried the saddle plus the bridle on Jazzy, and as I knew it would be, it is perfect for her and for me. The bridle is gorgeous on Jazzy. I think we will need to get saddle #2 when I get to riding seriously (especially when we will some day have both horses out on the trails together –– Once you’ve tried the new saddle, nothing else we have feels as good). I’m still doing just a little on Jazzy, and a lot from the ground. She is one sharp girl and it tickles me when she picks up on what I want so quickly, even doing goofy things like walking to the pasture together side by side, and playing a game of whoa when I whoa. When she sees me bring out her grooming bucket she heads straight to the paddock fence where I always groom her, no halter, no asking, and happily stands there the whole time no matter what else is around her. She is so much fun. Hope all is well with you.

Patsy, Angel and Misty (Illinois) Glenda and Gerald, Just wanted to give you an update on Angel. She is doing great and all the horses are getting along fine. They do have seperate mud areas and stalls at night though. When I first put Misty and Angel together, Misty headed at Angel squealed at her then started eating grass. I guess she was telling her who was going to be boss. Angel is great with the goats after one day and my neighbors chickens have been coming to see her and she is fine with them also. She seems to be a really sweet girl. She even comes to me better than Misty.

April and Bailey (Arizona) Hi Glenda, Just wanted to let you know that Bailey has totally settled in and is doing well. He gives the greatest hugs! I love him so much and now want another one! For my husband, you know ;o) , lol. I was looking at your videos and am VERY impressed with Rocky. Of course, I’ll need to teach more classes to make the extra $, but if he is still available over the next few months – he’s mine! However, if you sell him, I know that you will have another one that will perfectly meet my needs!! Right now, at my house, if it’s not nailed down, I’m selling it ! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and am looking forward to meeting my next partner! April

Tavi (New Mexico) I loved the saddle! It was a perfect fit for me and Roxie and she seemed as relieved as I was not to have that old Wintec put on her anymore. I am going to look at the bridles, because now that the saddle and pad are spiffy, my old headstall looks like hell. Kinda like cleaning one room of the house. I was so pleased that the saddle did not slip when I went to get off ( the Wintec always did, even when I had it tight) and I felt secure in it the whole ride. I will look at your headstalls and let you know. Tavi

Juli (New Mexico) Glenda I just wanted to write and tell you how happy I am with these two boys! I know it wasn’t easy to understand my position but I can tell you it was well worth the effort and I will tell everyone how grateful we are to have these two. They ride well together and separately just what we ordered! We are calling “rocky” Johnny walker black because of how smooth he is lol again thank you Juli.
