Becky (Florida) Hi Glenda & Gerald, I finally got a few minutes to sit and update you all on Joe. He is doing great. Took about a week to settle in. We had to establish a new pecking order first. My big QH has been the alpha and he still is not ready to give up his status position. My morgan/arab on the other hand has always been at the bottom of the pecking order and he still is. Joe has taken the position of middle man on the totem pole. At meal times however, he waits until everyone is in their stalls before he goes in his. In the beginning it was quite alot of action during feeding time. My Arab is a trouble starter but when the trouble starts he stands in the background and acts innocent. It is amazing how each horse has their own distinct personality. Joe is calm and just goes along with the routine as long as noone bothers him. When my Arab provocked him he took care of him and now everything seems to be in order, thank goodness. I would send pictures but as I said before we have a 2 acre pond on our property and Joe found a nice muddy spot to roll. I tried to groom it out but it was no use. We have had some chilly days and as soon as it warms up, he is getting a bath. Hope everything is good up there. I will take some pictures one day and figure out how to send them. I still visit your website to see if there are any new additions. Take care, Becky in Florida
