Description: Maverick is an in your pocket 16 hand, gorgeous black and white Tennessee Walking horse. He will follow you all over. Loves people and scratches. So personable. He’s gentle… really gentle. He loves to just flat walk all day, but pick him up, and enjoy the silky smooth ride. This gorgeous boy has the old time deep strided plantation walk. You don’t see it much anymore, but is it smooth??? Oh my, yes. Dad used to fill his scotch glass to the top and gait with his glass held out. He would ride by you and say, didn’t spill a drop. This is that horse. He’s classy moving. Colored up loud and proud. Maverick leads, loads, gives feet, stands for ferrier, clippers, baths, tacking, and grooming like a champ. Take him on the trail and he is one rare gem. He will literally leave the group and go back to camp alone. He will ride anywhere by himself, anywhere in the group, climb anything you ask him to climb, cross anything you want to cross. You can pony off of him, ride double, bareback, or even with a halter and lead rope. We had a friend ride him at Wranglers. Tiny woman. She put him through everything she could think of. He never spooked one time. His 1st time at this location riding, and you would have thought he was an old pro. Just went along with whatever she asked. He has the best ground manners.
